Pregnancy

The mother's body experiences many changes throughout pregnancy due to innate hormonal and physical changes. In addition, the baby's growth equates to extra weight for the mother to carry. These changes cause body ligament laxity and an altered sense of gravity, which means extra stress on the body.

We are happy to provide additional information and answer your questions. We work closely with health practitioners and recommend women seek support from care providers such as midwives, doulas, nutritionists, naturopaths and hypnotherapists.

Post Natal Care

After giving birth, we continue chiropractic adjustments as the mother's body recovers, she carries a growing baby, and copes with the stress experienced in the post-natal period due to hormonal changes and interruptions to normal sleep patterns.
