Emma Zappia

B.A.; B.Chiro Sc; M.Chiro | emma.zappia@gmail.com

Emma’s  philosophy is simple: health is an inside job. The way we move, how we breathe, what we eat, our thoughts and emotions, all play a role in our wellbeing. The nervous system is the master controller for all of these vital functions, so it makes sense to ensure that nervous system function is optimal.

Emma approaches each individual’s health with an intense curiosity for what is possible.

Emma attained a Masters of Chiropractic degree from Macquarie University in 2010, after five years of intensive study. Since then she has been in practice and developing further expertise, including advanced certification in Sacro Occipital Technic (SOT) – a technique she now teaches to other chiropractors. She also uses  a multi radiance cold laser (the MR4 ACTIV) for biophotomodulation.

Alana de Ville

Alana is our Senior Chiropractic Assistant. When she is not at work she is exploring overseas, spending quality time with her dogs, friends and family or keeping active at the gym. Alana recently started her own business Syinergy Acupuncture.

Degree- Bachelor of Health Science (TCM), University of Technology Sydney.

Laura Phongsavath

Our new CA and receptionist. Laura is a qualified Nutritionist and is currently practicing once a week from a private clinic in St Leonards. She has a passion for all things health and wellness, but has a special interest in gut health and stress/adrenal fatigue.
She is also studying full time, and currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
When she’s not working at Light Chiropractic and Wellness, in clinic with her clients or buried in textbooks for uni, you can probably find her at home with her cat (she is a self confessed proud and crazy cat lady), cooking and creating new recipes in her kitchen, going on a nature walk, or sitting at one of her favourite local cafes enjoying a good book and coffee.
